LOST RING & MARRIAGE PROBLEM
RING OF MYSTERY
Approximately four years ago my brother lost his wedding ring in the front garden of his home. A year later I moved to my present house.
Yesterday while changing a light fitting something fell from the hole in my ceiling. I didn't see what it was but heard it drop to the floor. I presumed it was a bit of plaster.
When I’d finished the job, my wife came out to Hoover the hallway. On the floor where I’d hear the plaster drop, she found a wedding ring. It had a diamond in it and the only person I could think with a ring like this was my brother. I felt compelled to telephone him. He told me the story about how the ring was lost and said he knew for definite where he had lost it. Nonetheless he would come around and have a look.
When he saw the ring he said "Tony its mine!" He then told me the very faint serial number, which was engraved inside the ring. You couldn't see the engraving with the naked eye as it needed intensive light in the right place to be able to see it. The numbers coincided and I immediately handed his wedding ring back to him.

Perhaps the ring had fallen through the floorboards from the room above the hall and fell through the ceiling when you made your repairs. Wedding rings look very similar so it would be easy to confuse your brother’s ring with the one lost by the previous occupants. Mystery solved. However, the serial number throws the cat among the pigeons. If the serial numbers corresponded and was a unique number for your brother’s ring then this is truly a remarkable paranormal event suggesting that the ring was apported from the garden to your hall. |
